Re: Karma question

Hi Brucekara, I can certainly understand your frustration when you moved to Win10. I had the same issue with a colleagues PC when he shifted to Win10. I eventually had to go backwards with my saved versions of Karma 'till I found one that would run reliably on Win10. He's had no issues, since, so I'...

Re: Karma question

Hi guys, sorry I haven't been online for a while but I spotted this thread and had to pitch in with my two penn'orth. As Wiseguy might remember, I am very much a Karma fan and had absolutely NO issues with Latshaw systems, that previously owned the rights to Karma. He mentioned a few other programs ...

HI Testuo73, I've had a look through the manual and I have to say this is one of the most user unfriendly devices I've ever seen. Passwords everywhere and smart cards. Dear me! The maual doesn't actually say what format the downloaded songs are in but if I read the unit description OK, then it seems...

Hi there. Welcome to the forum. I looked for tjmedia online but the website I found had absolutely no information on either your TKR-304E, not any sign of downloadable music. Please post the correct URL for your version of tjmedia. Preferably a link to the user manual. Have you tried contacting tjme...

does anyone use youtube for filler music? is it legal? you are basically just playing the tracks, not downloading them, copying them, saving them or selling them. and they ARE on there to bel played. just wondering... As soon as you play a piece of copyright material, so are obligated to pay for it...

That's more like it.

Checked "My Documents" folder and in the Karma Data folder is a "Singer History" folder.

That contains a "Singer History" file.

I use Karma as well but this question has never come up. Sadly, I can't find any easy (in fact, any) way to do this. I've done an extensive search on my hard drive to see if there is any file in a strange location that Karma might have placed the "history" file. UNfortunately, as I have no...

Quick addendum to my previous reply. If your computers are laptops AND you can get all your tracks onto the internal hard drive, then YES YOU CAN. You can physically block the USB ports on the laptop using these; http://www.lindy.co.uk/accessories-c9/security-c388/usb-rj-45-port-blockers-locks-c390/...

PGP will do the job Freeware and the USA government tried to stop it being released into the public sector as it's virtually unbreakable. This will stop simple drive to drive copying as the clone drive will be unusable without the PGP key. However, if you allow them access to play the songs, then th...

Hi wiseguy, I tell the new singer he/she almost certainly won't get on. If they want to wait, fine. If not, also fine. If I have 20 singers, the bar manager is selling loads of drinks and is a happy man. He pays my wages. My regular singers know the routine and turn up in plenty of time for the show...

Hi again. Lone Ranger, I appreciate your system but my "strict" rotation isn't as you describe. Although "strict", it is dynamic in the sense that singers CAN put up multiple songs but they will sing ONCE per rotation. Also, any new singers added to the list go to the back of the...

It's not often I disagree with you Bigdog but here, I do. If I'd been in a bar, buying drinks and paying your wages effectively and I'd been in a rotation on a karaoke, then some guy wandering in and going straight to the top of the queue would p*** me off enormously. I don't care if he walks throug...

Apart from anything else, just buy your first tune and then use their software for any other MP3 track you have to hand. Doesn't make sense to me as lyrics are available everywhere for pretty much any track you could wish for. To me, this is a simple trick to get people to buy MP3's and let's face i...

Sorry!

Don't have either of the tracks specified.

Best of luck,
