downloading songs

I've downloaded 18,900 songs to my new Cavs machine. Although it seems not many of you are familiar with the machine I thought you could still help because the question is more related to the transference of songs to a hard drive. I transfered the songs from one hard drive to the internal hard drive...

Plextor drive

I purchased a new Cavs JB 199 and hooked up a plextor drive to be able to play and record songs. I hooked it up tonight and the Cavs machine recognized the songs, but would not play them. I tried a CDG and a normal music CD. Any clues as to what's going on? Thanks

digital or CDG system

I'm having a tough time deciding to go with a digital system or not. I already started buying hardware for a CDG system which I can send back if I change my mind. If I buy all the CDGs I want I'm looking at spending $2000 just on discs. If I go with the digital system I'm getting 10,000 songs or mor...

CDGs

I would like to buy a new complete set of CDGs. I prefer Sound Choice My thought was just to order all of them through their website, but when I looked at their packages I was a bit confused. They have a foundation set which has 30 discs. In my mind that is barely anything. So obviously I need to bu...

You simply cannot have mic cords strung around the floor.
wiseguy - :) You are straight and to the point - you hold no punches - I like it!

Thank you again - I seem to be getting bad advice from others

I just purchased the Pioneer PD-V10G. It was $318 plus shipping at www.bestag.com
It seems that Pioneer is discontinuing the product. It was hard to find. I'm hoping I don't get a reply from the company that they are out of stock.

Buying a new system

:D I have been doing karaoke for 8 months now. I have a gig in a medium sized bar, working 3 nights a week. I'm looking to buy a whole new system. The one I use now is a hand me down system. It is a nice system, but has seen better days. I'm looking to spend any where between $2000 - $4000. I would ...
