Re: Message software

Are there any programs out there that would let you post messages or images on the lyric screen while running a show? I use karma so would need something that would work well with this program. I am looking for something that would say, allow you to post an image or photo next the the person's name...

Windows 8 is not that bad, and I am beginning to like ot more and more. XP was wonderful but without future updates from Microsoft, it will be very unsecure to bad things. So now that I have HDMI working, this leads to more uncertainty. Is it better to run with HDMI? Would it be better to split thi...

I am using windows 8 and these are my options. I can use: PC Screen only Duplicate Extended Second Screen only These are found on the display settings-project to a second screen. As I stated, I am not sure where to go from here. If I use extended, it shows part of the screen on my laptop screen and...

I am, however, considering the testing of the newier solid state drives. Is there really that big of a difference in these?? Solid State Drives (SSD) are lethally quick and almost shockproof but like all solid state memory have one major drawback. That is of cells only being writable for so many cy...

Re: Veteratin Noob Question

I am using Karma (it seems to be all that I need) and I do like it. I have a few questions about using laptop connections. The HDMI does not show as a second video out, would the VGA out solve the problem of only showing the video portion of the software and not the complete desktop? If this is tru...

KjPro closing down!

Imagine my shock at finding a notice on KjPro's home page indicating the imminent closure of their business. If I'm not the first to log this sad event, I apologise for bringing it up, if it has already been posted but I would like to wish all those involved with the site my very best wishes. You WI...

Bigdog,
many apologies!

I removed the wrong quotes when I replied to Dang.

I do NOT in any way imply that you made the comment I highlighted above.

Different strokes for different folks Bigdog.

Probably most of the Trivia followers would go to a Karaoke night and want to cut their own wrists open with a blunt, rusty knife.

I find that older singers tend to sing slow songs and even then "remember" the song as much slower than it actually is, so I've used it quite a bit.

Lets me get to the bar for a pint while they're progressing veeeeery slooooowly.

Why not just use Virtual DJ. Its easy to use and you can place the songs in order in a playlist and move them up and down accordingly. Without a shadow of doubt the worst Karaoke capable piece of software on the market. Utterly useless as a hoster. I wouldn't recommend my worst competitor to use it...

Here's a thought for you Bigdog. Several years ago, I remember reading a story and I do accept it might be "Urban Myth" but the thinking still applies. A man was looking for an electrician to wire his new house but there were so many available in his home town and he kept getting different...

Afraid I'm going to be my sad old self and come down firmly for Karma. Keep your Video Hoster, etc. As far as I'm concerned, a better designed program for Karaoke has not been made to beat Karma. The major and I DO admit it's a major hassle, is that you MUST have a network connection to download and...
