I've had a look through the user manual for your TV and would make the following comments; 1) your TV makes use of the Green connector of the Component input, rather than having a dedicated Yellow Composite input connector. 2) you should select AV as your source, rather than Comp. 3) last resort her...

Player worked fine on the old TV.
Cables tested out fine so I am thinking it is a TV setting.
Will try your other suggestions as soon as the black clouds over my head go away. I need to step away for a bit
Often the best thing to do in a situation like this.

Hi there, thought I'd weigh in on this one. First up, has the RSQ worked on another TV and if so, how did you have it hooked up? Second, you need to isolate your problem to a particular item in your pathway. You have three things to look at. 1)the RSQ if it worked before, then there's no reason to b...

Don't know about the States but over here in the UK, I place the blame firmly at the Brewers feet. They are pricing pubs out of business. mr.dj talks about supermarket prices but the simple fact is that supermarkets are in business to make money and I do NOT, for a second, believe that they sell bee...

Missing songs on KjPro

HI guys, I'm not a registered user of KjPro software but I DO use their website on a regular basis to find songs and in the main, I find this a simple and reliable system. However, at a gig the other night, I was asked if a backing track being played was available on Karaoke and on looking at the Kj...

Hi there, the user manual is, in fact, quite clear. Nowhere in either the manual or the specification does VocoPro claim MP3+G capability!!! What it clearly says is that it plays CD+G, i.e. standard Karaoke discs, AND MP3 files, i.e. music in MP3 format. To be fair, the Karaoke playing section of th...

Hi again, coincidentally, I bought a Starsinger unit for a couple of KJ's I support when their player went mammaries up and it has proved to be a good buy. It was an earlier model and there were a couple of things about it I didn't like; The CD tray was pretty flimsy and I would advise care with it....

As Wiseguy said, used is possibly not the best idea, especially if the words "used" and "auction" are combined. If you can't hear it working, don't buy it! Simple as! The only one I'd moderate that on is cabling. Most cables can be buzzed out with a multimeter and if necessary, s...

Hi there, first, welcome to the madhouse. Second, I'm not sure if you're in the correct section for your needs as it seems to me you're more looking for hardware advice, rather than a scenario situation. However and I DO sympathise with you, Re. all your various multiplicity of cables and wonder if ...

Hi there jeeperaz, you're not intruding asking for an assist. If you don't ask, you'll never find anything out. Two things first, 1)welcome to the forum 2)congratulations to your Grandparents on their 50th. Unfortunately, the sad news is that I'm finding what you already seem to have found. The song...

Hi there,
welcome to the forum.

If you have a full DJ setup, then really all you need is karaoke music, either disc, in which case you'll need a CD+G compatible disc player or more likely these days, files on a PC and a couple of microphones.

That should get you going.

I think it's more to do with the fact that they display on Ipads and andriod systems or conventional systems without the need for cdg software to the best of my knowledge. MP3+G files can be readily converted to AVI or MOV files, without the need to purchase new tracks, or is this simply another me...

Unfortunately, the powers that be will force you in that direction to cut costs.

As for the software, I tried downloading the demo but it wouldn't install on my XP machine.

Maybe just me but it didn't inspire me with confidence.
