welcome to the forum.

If you have a full DJ setup, then really all you need is karaoke music, either disc, in which case you'll need a CD+G compatible disc player or more likely these days, files on a PC and a couple of microphones.

That should get you going.

I think it's more to do with the fact that they display on Ipads and andriod systems or conventional systems without the need for cdg software to the best of my knowledge. MP3+G files can be readily converted to AVI or MOV files, without the need to purchase new tracks, or is this simply another me...
