Re: Call me a woman (new system)
Why do you need to convert the files back from KMA files? If you converted the MP3+Gs from one folder and saved the converted KMA file in another folder the MP3+G files would remain untouched.

Re: Call me a woman (new system)
Why would you not convert the files and export them to a separate folder while keeping the originals?

Re: Karaoke Builder Studio - fixed text problem
Simply converting the WAV to MP3 with the same name as the CDG does not guarantee it will be suitably synchronized with the lyrics. Even the slightest variation in the tempo of the audio will cause sync problems. By converting the BIN file you are guaranteed the exact synchronization that you origin...

Re: Karaoke Builder Studio - fixed text problem
I'm pretty much an expert on the MP3+G format. I've been working with this format since TriceraSoft invented it. In fact, I was one of their beta testers (for lack of a better term). I also worked with MTU before they stopped using their CD+G format. I am not confused about anything here. A karaoke ...

Re: Karaoke Builder Studio - fixed text problem
A BIN file is a complete song including the audio. It is the finished product after you complete mixing the song track. An MP3+G is an MP3 audio file with a CD+G graphics file. Karaoke Builder does not have an option to export to MP3+G. Your options are BIN (the complete song without audio compressi...

Re: Karaoke Builder Studio - fixed text problem
Actually, I have no idea. I was going by the website where it said "the MP3+G format is covered too". I took that to mean that the finished song could be exported to the MP3+G format. I downloaded and installed Karaoke Builder to see how it handled MP3+G files and found that it only export...

Re: Karaoke Builder Studio - fixed text problem
You'll want to export the tracks as MP3+G. Virtually all modern software karaoke players support this format.

There's no way I could get by without wireless mics. I have several regular singers who like to walk around the venue while singing. If I put them on a leash I would never see them again.

Re: Windows no longer the only game in town for Karaoke Hosts
I use Power CD+G Burner to rip songs directly to zip files and the ones I purchase online are already zipped. I simply rename the zip files to my naming convention and not worry about renaming the files inside as every hosting application I've ever tried reads the zip file name to create its databas...

What are "non-conventional zips" and by "adjust the gain" do you mean to normalize the volume?

Actually, that song is on Sound Choice SC8861 and Honky Cat HC005. I have both discs but I'm a collector so I won't sell them. I don't know where you're going to be able to buy either of these. I checked eBay and neither one is there.

Re: USB stick
The first thing to do is to make sure the USB stick is formatted to FAT32 as it will not work with your player if it is not. There is a video on how to do this on Windows 10 at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMGS7DeG_HY. The user manual doesn't state the maximum size the USB drive can be. All it sa...

Re: Connecting Karaoke Machine to DJ Mixer
I certainly wouldn't opt for a disc player, that's like stepping backward in technology. I know the latest version of Serato will play karaoke MP3+G files, and you could get by using it to perform karaoke, but it will not replace karaoke hosting software. Hosting software has features like digital k...
