I have had some sort of success using mtu's Karaoke Home Producer for making duets.
The key is set the lyrics and then go back and set the colors. Only ones that I can not do are the ones that have the singers singing different words at the same time.

Re: Wireless mics
The GTD mics that I have are only $229. Quality is good and you can't beat the replacement policy. $25 a mic transmitter. Plus you have the choice to connect each mic separately via xlr outputs or together with a single quarter inch jack. The Nadys only have a single quarter inch jack.

Retired from karaoke itself
I have decided that today's bar scene as a host has passed me by. Am now considering retirement from professionally hosting karaoke. Might be interested in my doing either sing-along nights or days for like nursing homes or even just singing for nursing homes. It probably means getting rid of the su...

With Siglos, you don't even have to download it if you don't want to. It will play straight from YouTube through the player.

Re: Newbie needs help, what to use?
For home use, you Tube is fine. The only Professional karaoke software that you can access without having to download from YouTube is Siglos Karaoke Professional from www.PowerKaraoke.com. has a built in song request system.

Re: Need help with setup these devices together for karaoke home system
Wouldn't use the phone or the chromecast period. I have tried to go wireless with a tv signal using miracast, Microsoft's version of chromecast, and even that had latency issues. Those features are not ready for karaoke primetime. Better to stay with cables. You only need to use the basics in my opi...

Re: Need Help With Setting up Karaoke for Home
Thank you for the advice Dan, and wiseguy (Sorry I dont know your name). So if I get the mixer, I dont really need a Receiver right? I will just hook the mic to the mixer, and the mixer out to the speakers? The sound from TV would also go into the mixer? (For when I dont want to use a laptop, or is...

Re: Need Help With Setting up Karaoke for Home
The only advantages to the GTD mics is that you can get replacement mics cheaply from the manufacturer. Otherwise the Rockville mics are a more cost efficient choice.

Re: Need Help With Setting up Karaoke for Home
If you're using the laptop, you're going to want to connect the external hdmi output of the laptop into the tv. Access you tube on the laptop. I personally would recommend that you look into either Siglos player/recorder or Siglos Karaoke Professional so you can access you tube from inside the progr...

Re: Problem with Karma
Never had it happen but I refuse to use any of their products that I have to pay for or worry about having to ask for support. Not that the software's aren't good programs. It's the quality level of the support they provide. Habitual accusing the user being stupid for not knowing how to fix the prob...
