I have every right to run my business in a respectable manner. NOT THE BAR BUSINESS. MINE They are free to hire whomever they want to provide the entertainment. If they have no respect for their paying customers it's not my fault. Radio stations play respectable song versions. They maybe forced to d...

If you spend the money to get programable microphones with frequencies then you will not have a problem. Just keep changing the frequencies till you find one the doesn't get interferred with. I use microphones with two channel receivers. No chance for dead spots as with a single channel receiver. On...

Every age group is more than welcome to come regularly to my shows. However be prepared to conduct yourself in a respectable manner. Over 21 we are all adults, so why can't we all act like it and have fun together? No need for drunks screaming & swearing and cop killing and pimping and dope deal...

If, for example you played only "Punk" music all night, what type of crowd would you end up with? They would be pretty wound up (slam dancing-moshing, etc) and not too tolerant of anyone that wasn't "Punk." The type of music you play can and will influence how the crowd behaves/r...

I don't know if 14 different books are needed. That's the problem with all of the crossover music/artists. I did make an all oldies book. I deleted everything after mid 1985. I wanted to keep it at least 20 years back.

Are you going to have a backup computer ready to go, in case the main one craps out? If your computer craps in the beginning of the night, you go home with an empty pocket. Then what about your next scheduled show? Will you have the computer fixed in time? The most undependable thing in the world is...

That will work until someone gets hurt or a fight breaks out. Then you have a liability factor, that you just created for the bar owner.

I use 100% pure karaoke music all night. Nothing else, ever. If I tried any of those things people would kill me, then they would quit coming. My crowds are use to nothing but singing. Nothing to waste valuable singing time. Back-to-back continuous, non stop karaoke music. No filler/da...

The best thing is getting it on the sign in front of the bar. The big moveable letter signs. Just put "KARAOKE EVERY WHENEVER." Keep it there no matter what. Nobody drives by and gets mental telepathy vibes about the karaoke night. People are stupid, they have to see it regularly. It's the...

I will not hesitate to walk out. I have had to do it many times. I warn the bar owner/ bartender about the problem. They have 5 minutes to decide if they want the problem to stay or me. Pick one. I really don't care which one you pick, just do it in 5 minutes. Private party could be a different matt...

First of all, how big and busy do you want to be? Second, you have to buy the second system and a vehicle to haul it. Insurance and everything else. Third, you have to find people you can trust to not steal everything. Then they have to be able to do it, the way you want it done. Drivers license. Fo...

You have taken karaoke to the "Old Ladies Auxiliary Club" level which is way to boring for my crowds. Yes, but it's their busiest night. I, after 14 years still have to over come the stereotype of what everyone still remembers as karaoke from the beginning. Screaming drunks, terribl...

In private I swear like a drunken sailor. (My only bad habit) In public I do with certain friends. At karaoke I'm a professional all the way. That includes how I respect and treat my cliental. If you have no respect for your singers (crowd) then what do you have? Not everyone is 21 and wants to hear...
