I agree also about CB for good country music. Sound Choice is pretty good but not all that its made out to be. I've been very disappointed with the overall quality od SC lately and have also been shopping other manus.

The price is also falling fast here as well with pirated hard drives and vocopro speakers littering the market. It is getting tough justifying packing up all your equipment and setting up and tearing d...

We also just started doing it as well at our shows. It was actually pretty simple and though the audio/video quality are lacking somewhat, it's still pretty cool. There are many free streaming websites to run it thru and we also have chat available to take requests, etc..

Yeah, That's kind of what I told her. We use only one of the 30 tv's in there and our singers outnumbered the basketball fans 3 to1. I'm almost glad it happened because I think it let her know how loyal our singers are and also that basketball and karaoke can peacefully co-exist together on the same...

If its a girl I can usually coax her into wearing whatever, My wife does the shows with me so she gets the guys going. Its really fun and it kinda lightens things up. We always take pictures and post them on our website. Most of our clientele appreciate it and I think it makes them sing better. I kn...

We did a private party outside by the pool and of course it rained. Just enough rain to make a problem. We had to cover our equipment and pull the speakers, etc under the covered area. Still had a great time though. We got people dancing and singing and before you know it the rain stopped. It was re...

I just had to deal with a very similar situation a few weeks ago. I do one of my weekly shows at a sports bar and "March madness" had just started. On the night of my show the venue manager calls me and wants me to start later than normal. Keep in mind that this gig was very new (3 weeks o...

Do you use props at your shows?

Just curious to see how the rest of you guys and gals feel about props. I personally love them! They add quite a bit to my shows. From blow-up guitars and trumpets, to tambourines and moraccas, to pimp, cowboy, and straw hats, to willie nelson wigs and lighted boas. I know.... its bad! Thats only ab...

You seem really "on edge" most times bigdog. I worry about you. If you dont care for "questionable lyrics" when running your shows then by all means delete them. However, quit being so judgemental on how others run their shows. What works for you may not work for others and vice ...
