Re: Just Karaoke Activation
I found an older computer that I had loaded with Just karaoke 2.0 and activated. Is there a way to find the activation code in the software? On the C: drive of the computer you should find a folder named JSTFiles . Inside that folder there should be a file named jst2prefs.cfg . Open that file with ...

Re: Burning Problem
The .cda files that you see when you explore the contents of a standard CD or karaoke CD+G disc are not actually files at all. They are shortcuts to the song tracks on the disc. The important thing is that you have verified that your burner will not read and write CD+G discs by testing it with Power...

Re: Burning Problem
There is no need to convert (extract) the zip files. Just add the zip files to the burn list. If after burning a disc using the zip files your disc has audio only then most likely your burner is not capable of burning CDG discs.

Re: Burning Problem
There are a number of things that could be causing the problem. Bad discs (yes even Verbatim can put out a bad batch occasionally), your burner could be going bad, the files you're trying to burn could be corrupt, etc.. I would suggest that you post your problem in the Power Karaoke Forum where the ...

Re: I believe that I may have new life as a host
Everything you mentioned does not solve the problem of social distancing which is by far the most effective way to prevent infection. Recent studies have concluded that coughing, loud talking, and singing are the major spreaders of the virus. The county I live in has a population of 30,000 people an...

Re: New setup
Looks to me like the software is Windows compatible to me. Songlist Generator is only available for windows computers. One word of warning is that while the software has been pretty good the customer service sucks as the only answers they give is there's nothing wrong with the software just the use...

Re: New setup
It looks like you have a hard drive full of mostly useless garbage. Everything on there is at least 10 years old. I doubt that any of that software will run on Windows 10, which is most likely the operating system you will have on a new laptop. None of your images are of karaoke song files. The only...

Re: New setup
I've run karaoke software on an XP laptop with less resources than yours. I see no reason why you should not be able to connect the external USB hard drive to your laptop. Have you even tried this?

Re: New setup
Not sure about the kind of files. Knowing the type of files on the hard drive is important for moving forward. I strongly suspect that they are MP3+G files (an mp3 and a cdg for each song) or karaoke zips which are the two files for each song being zipped together into a single zip file. Can you pl...

Re: I believe that I may have new life as a host
You cannot control social distancing which is the number one preventative measure. This is why bars are going to be among the last businesses to reopen. There is no way I'm going to a bar until there is a vaccine and most people have received it.

Re: Retired from karaoke itself
The mic itself would have to be sanitized before and after every singer. It would be interesting to see how the 6-foot social distancing is achieved. Just face the unfortunate fact that karaoke in bars will not be safe until there is a vaccine against this virus.

Re: Can't get USB flash drive to play my music files on Vocopro Warrior IV portable karaoke player.
Mp3 and cdg. Is there another way to format the flash drive so that it works. I've tried unzipping the files but the best it will do is play the mp3 files with no graphics. Thanks for any reply. Most machines will only accept USB drives with a FAT32 file system so you might try reformatting the fla...
