Re: Should I even consider going back to a show that I used to do
It sounds to me that you are being taken advantage off. Even though you say you get more than monetory satisfaction from doing it. I can understand an occasional charity event for a worthy cause but for three years I think that's taking the pxx. The cost of supplying the music, equipment & trans...

Re: Host singing and when not to sing
Much like Dang2006, I sing first song mainly to check all is OK. I stay in the rotation until there are more than 6 singers then drop out. Sometimes depending on the crowd, I might get all singers up for the last song to do a group song to close the show. I only have 4 mics but by that time most hav...

Re: Building Out Setup
It depends on the way that Y cable is actually wired up. Is it wired as 2 separate left and rights going to a single stereo jack ? If that's the case then your plugging a stereo jack into what I think is a mono socket on the speaker. Looking at that speaker it does only seem to have a single input s...

Re: Building Out Setup
When you say your running a y cable from the main out, you should not do that. I'm not saying that is why your not getting any signal but a y cable out does not sum the signal properly. If you can only run a single cable to the speaker you should use the pan knob, so if you run from the left out of ...

Re: HELP: advices need for reducing feedback on my karaoke system
That Behringer FBQ1502 I originally mistook it for their feedback destroyer rather than an equalizer but I would say get your system working correct without it first. You can think about adding that when you've learnt to control the sound better. Now your getting me confused with your summary. When ...

Re: HELP: advices need for reducing feedback on my karaoke system
I just downloaded a photo fro Behringer as I don't have this mixer so I was giving general advice. Now I've seen it, Set the main fader to 0 db and the mike level to 0db then adjust the gain knobs for each channel so as not to clip. Then I would use channel 5/6 left and right for the stereo in rathe...

Re: HELP: advices need for reducing feedback on my karaoke system
I would say do away with the FBQ1502, more trouble than its worth setting it up. Any setup will give feedback if the volumes are too high. There are a number of videos on Youtube for setting the gain on your mixer, basically set the channel volume to 0 DB then adjust the gain for that channel not to...

Re: Is there a Software Program that allows you to add a song from a singer's CD or Flash Drive?
In my experience all phone requests from SongbookDB can only be from the registered owner of the phone, The phone app only sends the name of the registered person, that person can request to add a singer with him but can't change the lead singer name he sends in.
It's more full proof than the Kiosk.

Re: Is there a Software Program that allows you to add a song from a singer's CD or Flash Drive?
While I like Siglos, I just can't wait for PowerKaraoke to get their kiosk/phone app capability added to Siglos. I need it now. So for the ability to integrate SongbookDB into the player, I am choosing to basically go back to Hoster. I can still control what goes into the player because I can leave...

mp3+g files or zip files you can simply copy and paste from one disc to another or direct to a computer folder, the normal term burning relates to regular CDs or CD+G

Re: New computer new request policy
To add to my above post here is the link to songbbookDB own video instruction on setting up as kiosk https://www.songbookdb.com/docs/djs/tut ... eos/#kiosk
You can fast forward to about 1.48 min to get to the main bit about entering your name with kiosk added.

Re: New computer new request policy
For the most part, my singers tried their best to follow the new request submital policy. I can't blame them for its failure. The fault lay completely on how complicated the software designer made the steps to get a request done. If more of the singers had smartphones I might not have even noticed ...

Re: Peavey PV 10 AT Mixer with Auto-Tune
I would always be a bit wary of using a mixer like the Soundcraft Ui24X as to my understanding it is totally reliant on a wireless connection to operate it. I think if I wanted something that could be operated remotely by a tablet or phone I would choose something like the QSC Touchmix 8 or 16 as th...

Peavey PV 10 AT Mixer with Auto-Tune
Anyone have any experience with the Peavey PV 10 or 14 AT Mixer with Auto-Tune ?
Seems to have some good features like the auto tune, record, mp3 direct playback & Bluetooth.

I think your best bet is to buy a regular wired mic and forget about the magic mics.
