There is no need to convert (extract) the zip files. Just add the zip files to the burn list. If after burning a disc using the zip files your disc has audio only then most likely your burner is not capable of burning CDG discs.

I've run karaoke software on an XP laptop with less resources than yours. I see no reason why you should not be able to connect the external USB hard drive to your laptop. Have you even tried this?

Not sure about the kind of files. Knowing the type of files on the hard drive is important for moving forward. Welcome to the forum. To start with, would you tell us what software and what type of karaoke song files are in the 2TB hard drive.

You cannot control social distancing which is the number one preventative measure. This is why bars are going to be among the last businesses to reopen. There is no way I'm going to a bar until there is a vaccine and most people have received it.

The mic itself would have to be sanitized before and after every singer. It would be interesting to see how the 6-foot social distancing is achieved. Just face the unfortunate fact that karaoke in bars will not be safe until there is a vaccine against this virus.
