Re: Sennheiser has upped the game
Maybe so. But what is the cost when the battery dies? No cost for the setup Sennheiser is offering as bith the receiver and the transmitter is rechargeable.

Sennheiser has upped the game
I am looking at a new offering from Sennheiser.
It's a rechargeable wireless system that has an answer to battery life. If you run over the battery life just disconnect the Mic from the transmitter and hook it up to a regular mic cable and you're good to go. Simple as that for handhelds.

Re: Found a better answer for you tube karaoke fans
I know what I want now. And it was Karaoke Version's videos that was the problem. Compuhost will play all the other mp4 downloads. I have chosen OpenKJ because it is the easiest, most versatile karaoke software that allows me to run just the one karaoke software. The only other item that I have to h...

Re: Found a better answer for you tube karaoke fans
I am always looking for a better mousetrap. Sometimes it works out perfectly, sometimes I am just spinning wheels. I was just spinning wheels with trying to beat the You Tube crew. I am still not playing any you tube karaoke. Unprofessional and illegal to boot. Because Compuhost won't play any video...

Re: Found a better answer for you tube karaoke fans
My external DVD drive gave out so that player is out if the question. Now I can only purchase downloads for new music. So I am back to saying that I don't give a hoot how remote the chance of being sued, I refuse to put any of my venues in a position of being sued. They get sued and You will have to...

Found a better answer for you tube karaoke fans
My answer is that I will only play what my Karaoke player will play and allow me to add to the rotation. I now have a software that won't play any video files, just mp3+G zipped. My DJ player won't play any video formats either. I absolutely won't drag a stupid web browser to the singer's monitor fo...

Re: I am done. No more equipment.
I don't think that I'm going to be looking for anymore software programs either. I have had three weeks to figure out that you can pay what you want for software only to find out that the freeware software may be all you really need to run a show. Tale of four shows. Show 1 all softwares are crashin...

I am done. No more equipment.
After the fiasco with the digital mixer, all my fault for not being able to figure out how to set everything up without bleeding the mics into the music channel for some reason, never figured out what I did wrong and don't care because my thinking that the digital mixer was defective got me to get m...

Re: Going totally digital sort of
The thing is, unless you can control the mixer via a tablet, you really can't call the mixer fully a digital mixer. I had a Bose Tonematch mixer that called itself a digital mixer but you couldn't walk away from your system and still be able to adjust it. Same with the Zoom Livetrack L-12 Digital mi...
