Just curious, for those who transport their equipment to each show. What type of vehicle do you drive?

I am using a 98 stratus..planning on getting an SUV soon though...car get's cramped.

I use a full size GMC cargo van. I actually take two complete systems with me to every gig. I hate not having a spare "anything" with me.

Seen one and feel it would be great for a KJ to have as it has adequate space - too bad it's not in my price range. Not sure when I'll have a vehicle as I am having trouble with leeches making it hard on me saving the money.

Have decided to tell these leeches that the bank of Dan is no longer giving out withdrawels and accepting deposits only.

sounds like you're fed up. Leaches aren't good for business that's for sure. I bought my CRV used as I can't afford a new one. I have to say that this is a great reliable vehicle with plenty of room. Keep your eye out for used ones. Hondas generaly last a long time. Mine had like 5000 miles on it and knock on wood I had no problems with it at all except when I did my maintenance timing belt change they found a small leak in the water pump and changed it while they were in there. So lucky for me didn't cost me anything but the part cost. Take care and good luck with the leaches

Yeah, start thinking about you first once in awhile.

Nice with the CRV, something to think about...

I use a Chevy Express Cargo Van. I'm like Wiseguy, I hate not having a backup of any piece of equipment.

Got a Toyota Sienna with the fold down seats, works great. Love having the lower "deck" height for moving the equipment in an out vs. my truck. Plus with the seats folded into the floor, I have tons of space when I have to take extra gear.

Had a great DJ gig with very few hiccups.
Biggest hiccup was trusting someone else to lug my equipment as I had a sprained foot that I had treated the day before.
Foot feels better now.

i find clients absolutely love it if you ask them to give you a hand. They feel included like they are your friends.
