We've been trying to use a 8 plug rack, (PC100A? the one with on/off switches on the front for each of the 8 plugs in back) as a power supply to our DJ lights.The problem we've had, is that our Color Pod 250, as well as our Martin Mania EF2, will shut down, and not come back on. We have several lights plugged into the unit, an Avenger, couple Mini Aggressors, Cosmic etc. None of those seem to have a problem with being turned on and off with the switches on the power supply. However, every time I incorporate the Pod 250, and/or the Martn EF2, it will work the first couple times we turn it on and off, then it'll quit for the night. The next day, it will always start right back up, as if there was never a problem.
We run all the other stuff (amps mixers cd players etc.) through a power conditioner. We're afraid to plug the unit with the lights going to it, into the power conditioner, for fear that we'll pop the fuse on the whole show! Is a second power conditioner what we need?
