Post by Tony Walter »

Hi Guys,
I have purchased DVD Karaoke discs which I want to change to CD+G format,
reasn being I want to use computer as player and it's a living hell having to change between different programs for DVD, CD+G, time consuming,
would be a dream to have everything in same format.

Many thanks for any ideas or program suggestions.
Best Wishes Tony in Stockholm Sweden. :D

I'm assuming that the song tracks on the DVD discs are videos. CD+G is not a video format and videos cannot be converted to CD+G. It is, however, possible to convert CD+G song tracks to video formats (typically avi or mpeg) with softwre like Power CD+G to Video Karaoke Converter. If you also ripped the song tracks from the DVD's to mpeg files at least you would have all the songs in one format.

Probably the better solution would be to rip the song tracks from the DVD discs to mpg and then use a hosting application like JustKaraoke that plays both mp3+g and mpg file types.

Now there's how it's done!!!

Guy comes on, asks a questions, gets the answer he's looking for and says thanks!

How simple was that.

Welcome Tony Walter!

Come back any time.

Sandy.
