can i use windows media player

i am currently using swift elite 4 with my mp3s and cdgs on my external wondering if there is a way i can use windows media player as i am having problems with swift elite on occasion they are trying to figure out what is wrong with it i still have gigs to play

While you can play MP3+G files with Windows Media Player if you have the Power CD+G Filter I certainly wouldn't want to use it to run a show. It has absolutely no hosting features.

I'd use VirtualDJ, before I'd use Windows Media Player and I reckon VirtualDJ is rubbish.

There are several free programs out there, like Karafun, Trikaraoke and even Sunfly Karaoke do one.

OK, they're not great but still better than the option you're looking at.

Pay for options include Just Karaoke (very good value for money and pretty good, as a hoster.).

My choice would be Karma but that's a personal option as it's fairly expensive at around the £100 mark.
