karma Singer Song History

Post by babradley »

Is there an easy way to copy a singers song history from one Karma program to a Karma program on another computer?

I use Karma as well but this question has never come up.

Sadly, I can't find any easy (in fact, any) way to do this.

I've done an extensive search on my hard drive to see if there is any file in a strange location that Karma might have placed the "history" file.

UNfortunately, as I have no idea what Karma might have called this data file, i.e. Karm????? or History????? I can't tie it down.

It might be an idea to contact Latshaw Systems (I believe they have been taken over, BTW) to see if they can help.

Thank you Sandy for your response...

I just received an email from Latshaw about my inquiry. Below is their response...

As long as all of your music still resides in the same path, you can simply
copy the contents of the "Karma data folder" located in your "documents folder".

That's more like it.

Checked "My Documents" folder and in the Karma Data folder is a "Singer History" folder.

That contains a "Singer History" file.
