Copy/convert MP3 + G to CD (for a conventional player)

Post by Billy Bob Joe Bob 1958 »

I have a TON of songs I've downloaded from Tricerasoft. A ton!

But now I want to give my mother a karaoke machine for mother's day.

(There is NO WAY she's going to be able to run a PC/laptop player. She's 80.)

So...how do I copy/convert all the MP3 + G tunes I have to a disk that could be ready by something like a Vocopro?

Help?

Go here;

http://www.powerkaraoke.com/src/prod_powercdgburner.php

Software designed for the job.

It's what I use to make CD+G discs and it's never let me down.

There ARE other ways to do it but it's a pain in the butt.

PowerKaraoke provides the easiest way of dealing with that.

Be sure to try the demo version of Power CD+G Burner to make sure it will work with your burner. While it works with most modern burners it does not work with all of them.

My main concern is whether it works in the DIRECTION I need.

I buy the songs in an online format (because I like computers).

My MOTHER can't barely manage email. So I want to convert my computer files back to something that will work in a conventional karaoke player.

You think the software mentioned will work? (I'm going to look into this tonight.)

Yes, the basic function of Power CD+G Burner is to create karaoke CD+G discs (the ones that will play in any standard karaoke disc player) from MP3+G files (the type you download from TriceraSoft).

I am having a problem with certain mp3G files loading via USB on my player (GQ100) and would like to burn them to CD, to try loading them that way. I went to download this burner you recommended and my virus protection red flagged it in 3 different sections malware, adware, and 2 virus protocols. Is there a clean version I can get? I don’t want to buy a program laced with adware and viruses. Thanks..

Does your antivirus happen to be Norton? That bloatware is notorious for reporting false positives. Click here to see the VirusTotal report for the link that is giving you the warnings.

Please try this link to download Power CD+G Burner and let me know if you get warnings.

More to the point is where you downloaded your software from?

If from Power Karaoke, then there should be absolutely NO problem with virus checkers.

If your virus program is flagging it as Malware, then it's your anti virus software that's the issue!

Apart from that, your Anti Virus "should" give you an "override" option.

The "Demo" version of the program WILL let you test it's functionality.

I have been using Power CD+G Burner for over 5 years with NO problems, virus/malware/adware or otherwise.

Thanks. I will test it on my computer at work to see if it reacts any differently. Thank you so much!
