Can't figure out how to make an SD card

Post by emptycoffin92 »

Hey hopefully this is in the right category

I bought a Starsinger Magiking Magic Mic Karaoke Machine Mp3+G, its come to the point where I want more songs on it, but I cannot find a place to buy cheap SD cards already with songs on them or find away of either downloading or purchasing a CD to put onto a SD card.

I would like anyone's input on these matters and preferably a step by step guide as I am struggling with the concepts put forth on multiple sites about the topic

The unit plays MP3+G files. These can be purchased individually at sites like TriceraSoft and others. Each MP3+G songs is comprised of two files (CDG and MP3). When you purchase these as downloads each song will be zipped into a single zip file. I was unable to locate an instruction manual for the Starsinger so I don't know if it supports playing zip files. If it doesn't then you would need to unzip the files and copy the song file pairs to the SD card.

Without an instruction manual nobody will be able to give you step by step instructions on how to load the unit.
