karaoke dvd disc

Post by dan2 »

Hi , I have an old karaoke player a karaoke dvd came with it, now my player doesnt work anymore and the dvd cant be played anywhere. The folders in it are: video_ts (with 3 vob files), audio_ts (empty) and a karaoke folder with header.img,list.img and music.img in it.
now I did try to make iso but only got images no sound or lyrics.
How can I get this dvd to work? at least to put them on my laptop
any ideas would be great I have tried everything! (they aren't english songs and are extremly hard to find)
any help to put me on the right track would be greatly appreciated
thanks

Some ripping programs may have hardware conflicts with certain reader/ writers.

Was the reader/writer DVD compatable?

And can it do CD+G?

I'm guessing that the total contents of the DVD exceed 4.7 GB which would mean that it is a dual layer disc. It may play in a blu-ray DVD player but probably not. I recommend that you just go and buy another karaoke player like the one you had. It shouldn't be that expensive.
