mixer problems

Post by elkomander1979 »

hello!! I'm new to karaoke and I'm having problems adjusting the mixer. I have the xenyx 1622fx mixer and my problem is that i can't get a good fx on my microphone system (UHF 5800 Vocopro). The voice sounds bad, what would be a good set up and fx for my mics..I'm connected to the first channel and I can't get a good reverb. I have no problem playing music but when it gets to karaoke, my mics sound terrible what would be the best set up on channel one as far as high, mid.. can u guys help me out..thanks

I can't find a clear enough picture...

http://www.kosmic.com.au/behringer-xenyx-1622fx-mixer/

What is that where the number 15 LED is?
Is that the effects or did I read the effects are in a software package?

Meaning you have to edit it on a computer. Is this thing for live performance or studio work like internally on a computer....using the computer like a tape deck

Hi there.
You didn't mention whether or not you have the user manual for your mixer.

I ask this as I use a Behringer mixer/amp and have found the documentation very clear on how to hook things up.

You can find the manual for the 1622FX here;

http://www.behringer.com/assets/UB2442F ... O_M_EN.pdf

Hope this helps.
