[REQUEST] Plz build me a karaoke system.

Post by 520131420 »

Hi every one.

Im a newbie in karaoke entertainment.
My story is I just got gifted a karaoke system that plays a special CD into which some midi songs were burned (They told me so.) I need a system that goes along with my karaoke system to make me sound good. My budget is around $750. I will place it in my 800 sqft basement. Please build me a system that you think fits me best.

I know a bit about how things work together, but I dont know which brands and model are good and compatible to each others. So, if you give me a build like : "model XXX amplifier + model XXXX mixer + model XXXXX speakers", that would be great! :D

I rely on your opinions. :)
Please no lessons. Im not lazy, but my reading skills are bad. I am a foreigner, so I cant do research in English smoothly.

Thank you guys.

What is this "special CD" you speak of? What is the make and model of your karaoke player? The more information you give us the more likely we are to be able to advise you.

I'll never understand why these Arirang machines don't play CD+G which is by far the most popular karaoke disc format.

Anyway, you're going to need a PA system and microphone. You are going to be fairly limited by your budget. I would recommend that you go with something like the Fender Passport 300 PRO and a descent wired microphone like the Shure PG58-XLR. These should do a good job in the space you are setting up in.
