Will KaraFun run with the Windows 7 Starter?
Half the programs won't work with Vista and now they have to figure out how to get stuff to work with 7.

Ask us next year....

I'm still looking for some help here though.

Surely I can't be the only person this has ever happened to!

The obvious solution appears to be to simply unzip all the song files.

They still won't work with any of the karaoke players I tried.

That's where the problem is.

OK, I was under the assumption that it was the zipped files that wouldn't play correctly. There seems to be a question of Karafun's compatibility with Windows 7.

I don't have Windows 7 on any of my computers but I've read that it has an option to run software applications in XP compatibility mode. Have you tried that?

The zipped files aren't playing correctly. But they were.

My main machine, BTW, is running on Vista. Karafun was working just fine on it. Suddenly, it isn't.

Hmmm... I wonder if its something that a Vista upgrade caused.

But then wouldn't somebodyelse have also experienced the problem?

It may just be a file association problem. Maybe you should try completely uninstalling Karafun, rebooting the computer, and reinstalling Karafun.

Interesting comment.

Have you tried unzipping the files to CD+MP3?

If an upgrade issue, have you tried "Restoring" to an ealier known good date?

Can you make Vista run Karafun like it's in XP?
