Newbe needing CDGs

Post by guitarpat »

What's the best way to start my CDG colletion. Was thinking that I could find used bulk sets on ebay or craigslist? There are so many brands out there. Which ones are good quality? I'm afraid I'll buy a bunch and they will be bad renditions. Which are the brands I should avoid?
Thanks Pat

I'd be worried about the quality of the actual discs. Most KJs don't take very good care of their discs. Buying dicsc with many scratches will not be worth it.

There are many karaoke sites offering disc sets. Most people like Sound Choice discs.

Most of the sets are brand new in packaging. I bought a Big Hitz pack off of Ebay because I needed some newer songs. Pretty good quality actually.

Here's one for you;

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Karaoke-HITS-Supe ... 335ac2dff7

Claims they are new and as they're from the States, should be easy for you.

After reading the entire list of songs, I can tell you that there are dupes in there due to Karaoke Hits being an updated version of the KJTool kit, which is also inside of Supercore. Good rendentions of songs in my opinion though.
If I didn't already have all of those songs I would jump on it myself.

I would try to find a site with sound samples to listen to.

I like Sound Choice as they are VERY PROMPT in getting the package to your door and their music seems to me to be a more accurate rendition of the real song.
