New To karaoke and have questions

Post by billky »

I bought a complete system, not a very good one but something to start with. It is a Pyle PT-3300 Audio Digital Amplifier, with 2 GLI Pro XL-1540 speakers. I am in a 30x30 room. No matter how I adjust the bass, treble and balance it still has a hollow sound like inside a cave. Would I gain anything by purchasing a decent mixer or is the problem in the speakers? My player is an Acesonic DGX-209
Thank you in advance to anyone who has any ideas

I hate to say that it is probably both if both are pyle. they are bottom of the barrel when it comes to audio, although I had good results with a pair of pyle pro 10" speakers. I'd replace the amplifier first and if that didn't fix it the speakers.

Sounds like you have the reverb turned up on the music. No reverb on the music, just the vocals.
