Christmas is, and has always been, a family holiday to me. It holds no religious meaning whatsoever and is celebrated with no religious rituals.

The very name of the event CHRIST mas says it all. It's the accepted day of celebration all around the world. And it is connected to and does signify the observance of the birth of Jesus.

Since it holds no religious meaning to you it may as well happen on October 3rd or any other of the 363 remaining non religiously connected days.

Sorry, I didn't get to name it. But since they let the kids out of school, and give people time off from work, I'll take advantage of it. I do the same thing with Easter. They won't let me create my own holidays with these amenities so I'll just use these ones that celebrate mythical events.

This is getting into the "too religious debate topic" and I am going to back awayyyy. :)
