bought one today ex cond,how do you hook it up and what do i need,it has a mike
i got a dvd player plus flat screen........it has audio outs on back has 4 jacks plus anothr one no vidio jack on this unit.....only gave 5 bucks for it

Connecting Power
CAUTIONS: Be sure to set the AC/DC switch on the back of the system to AC
when using AC power or to DC when using internal batteries or DC
power.
Do not use a DC adapter while an external speaker is connected to
the music system.
Installing Batteries
You can power your system using eight "D" batteries. Use alkaline batteries,
such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-550.
Follow these steps to install the batteries.
1. Press the battery compartment cover's tabs in the direction of the
arrows, and lift off the cover.
2. Insert the eight batteries in the compartment on top of the battery
ribbon as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside the
compartment.
3. Replace the cover.
If you are operating the system using battery power and the sound becomes
weak or distorted, replace the batteries.
CAUTION: To avoid damage to the system, remove the batteries if you do not
plan to use it for a week or more. Also, do not leave batteries
in the system if you plan to use AC or DC power for an extended
period of time.
Using AC Power
You can power the system from a standard AC outlet using the supplied AC
power cord.
Remove the AC power cord from the battery compartment and plug it into a
standard AC outlet.
Using DC Power
You can also power the system from your vehicle's battery if the vehicle has
a 12-volt DC, negative-ground electrical system. This connection requires a
DC adapter (Radio Shack Cat. No. 270-1562).
CAUTION: The adapter must supply 12 volts, its center tip must be set to
positive, it must deliver at least 3.0 amps, and its plug must
correctly fit the 12 VDC jack. The recommended adapter meets these
requirements. Using any other adapter could damage the system or
the adapter.
Plug the smaller end of the adapter into the 12 VDC jack on the back of the
system. Then plug the larger end into your vehicle's cigarette-lighter
socket.
CAUTION: To avoid electrical shock and damage to the system and vehicle,
always unplug the adapter from the cigarette-lighter socket before
unplugging it from the system.
Connecting Another Audio Source For Input
You can connect another audio source (such as a stereo VCR or CD player) so
you can sing along with the audio source's sound. Connect the source's
stereo audio output jacks to the system's AUX IN R and L jacks.
NOTE: If your audio source does not have AUX OUT jacks, but has only a head-
phone output jack (such as is found on a portable tape or CD player),
use a shielded Y-adapter cord with phono plugs on each end (such as
Cat. No. 42-2475). Connect the single-plug end to the audio source's
headphone jack, and connect the other end's two phono plugs to the
system's AUX IN R and L jacks.
Connecting An Audio Component To The Output Jacks
You can connect an audio component (such as a PA system amplifier) to the
system's AUX OUT jacks. The AUX OUT jacks let you hear the system's sound
through the component.
Connecting An External Speaker
You can connect an external stereo speaker with 4 Ohms and 20 Watt impedance
to the system's R. CHANN OUTPUT jack for stereo effect.
