superCD+G legal?

Hi I am new to this karoake. Does anyone know if SUPERCD+G discs are legal and whether they can be transferred to other formats to be used with compuhost or any of the other softwares? The super cd+g discs so far are the best I have been able to find for an initial library with 450 songs on a disc on sale for just over 100 bucks. Does anybody know of something better?

Use Power SCDG Ripper to rip the songs from the SCDG disc to MP3+G files. Legal is in the mind of the beholder.

They sound terrible compare to Zoom, SBI and SoundChoice..

Most are unlicensed. So no they aren't legal.
