Mixer

Post by Zhorell »

Hello Karaoke fanatics :D

What's a good small mixer for my laptop & powered speaker setup.. my current microphone mixer's knobs are getting faulty.. looking to get a small 4 channel(?) mixer w/ effects..

What's a good small mixer that sounds great with mics? the last mixer I had a couple years back sound terrible, for some reason these microphone mixer sounded better! Mic mixer are too bulky I want something smaller :D

Any recommends? thanks!

I use a Behringer Xenyx X1204USB.

Relatively small with a USB interface for the laptop. I personally love it, but it is the first mixer I've bought so I don't have anything to compare it to.

The mixer is around $200, but you can get a simpler version without the built-in FX processor for around $150.

I have an Alesis MultiMix 8 USB hooked up to my computer for recording at online karaoke sites. It does a very good job.

I bought Yamaha mg82cx and comparing it to my old karaoke mic mixer, it's not as crisp not as hifi sounding but warmer, but the effects are nice! I just not satisfied with the eq preamp sound of the yamaha mixer.
