Hey Folks, I am a complete NOOB when it comes to Karaoke Equiptment. I am looking for a home setup for my basement bar that will hold up. I have a home Theater off the bar area with a 106" screen/projector setup and Onkyo surround sound, but I don't want to use the surround sound speakers (fearing they will get ruined with drunks singing.) I would still like to hook up the Karaoke system to the big screen though.
What I am looking for is recommendations for an ALL-IN-ONE system(I think), with USB input (preferred - I think). I would prefer NOT to use my laptop, but will if necessary. I prefer to use an External USB Hard Drive to store/play the music. I would prefer a good wireless mic setup.
Please provide recommendations on systems only, I know the media/songs are expensive (and don't need that lecture) and will slowly build my collection once I get the Karaoke machine up and running. I am open to recommendations anywhere from $50 up to the $500 area.
