It appears that Sunfly has opted to taking the high road by producing clean lyric song versions.

But from my experience even with a no swearing policy in my book...if they heard the song with the swear words in it...they 9 out of 10 times sing it dirty by inserting the omitted bad words...so I just don't spend the money on them or if I accidentally get them on a disc with other songs...I just don't put it in the book. That takes care of the problem.

I commend Sunfly for taking the high road...

I tell my singers "if it's on the monitor you can sing it". If they sing words not on the monitor they will get their mic shut off. That's how I take care of the problem.

I like the "clean version" idea. Those are the ones I list in my books if they are available.
