I thought I was going to use JustKaraoke for my new laptop when I learned last night that Compuhost is bringing back the KJ Media Pro in conjunction with the Cloud. It should operate the same way that it worked before: you go online to purchase credits and move them from their online locker to the host machine. You then at your shows unlock each song by redeeming those credits- one per song, and walla you own the song. No subscription that runs out. You only hook up to the internet to purchase/manage your credits and to download new songs as they become available. All these songs are licensed for Commercial use from the publishers.
