The best thing is getting it on the sign in front of the bar. The big moveable letter signs. Just put "KARAOKE EVERY WHENEVER." Keep it there no matter what. Nobody drives by and gets mental telepathy vibes about the karaoke night. People are stupid, they have to see it regularly. It's the best form of free advertising the bar has. Hundreds if not thousands of cars/people go past there daily/weekly.
I use monthly calenders, full color posters, full page color ads in the song books. Tell people and personally hand them your calender. Don't expect them to take one on their own.
