Chris Ledoux - This Cowboy's Hat

Post by letitrip »

OK so this is a long shot but I've got a request from one of my regulars for this song. I'm having a hard time finding much of any of Chris Ledoux's work on CDG. Anyone got some thoughts on where I could find "This Cowboy's Hat"?

That song doesn't appear to have been released on any karaoke disc.

Damn that sucks. Thanks for checking Wiseguy, confirms what I was finding. I may have to break out the guitar and give him the backing track live ;)

I tried a couple different vocal reducers on the original but the results were not good.

I think I have every Chris Ledoux song released on karaoke (26), and was surprised to find that This Cowboy's Hat isn't one of them.

Thanks again Wiseguy, I too had tried the vocal reducer that I have. The results weren't terrible but there were some really bad spots where it introduced clicks and pops. Guess I'll have to get the cords down on guitar.

Might be worth getting vogone 3 as it's predicessors have been pretty good. Vogone 3 has the ability to deal with off center panned vocals which the song might have. The predicessors to vogone 3 all dealt with center panned vocals.
