Post by mollycat »

Hi

I am trying out Swift Elite as a hoster programme and most of it I am ok with, however I do not seem able to just display the karaoke song on to my second monitor for my singers,I end up with the entire software package on the 2nd monitor as well as on my lap top, how do I just show the karaoke screen on my 2nd monitor???????
Hope some one can help

Sounds like rather than extended desktop you've just got dual displays setup. To change this, right click on your desktop (the background that you see when you login to windows) and from the context menu that pops up select "Properties". This will open the display properties window. Click on the settings tab. In the box at the top it should show your two displays (two blue boxes numbered 1 & 2). Click on the one with the #2 in it. Then down toward the bottom left of the display properties window you'll see a check box that says "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor". Check that box and click apply.

Now you've got your extended desktop setup. Note the orientation of the two displays in the box at the top, #2 will be your external display. Close out of the Display properties window and start your Swift software. Start a song and drag just the display window (with the lyrics in it) to the second display (your TV) and you should be all set.
