Yeah I guess I should check before speaking. Thank goodness the venue I am doing now won't allow it to be sung. It is one of the places that I censor my music. I have a feeling I am going to be doing that more often now that I'm doing private parties. I also don't have to deal with drunks.

It's always nice to not have to deal with drunks! That is one of the things I love about having the show at the Deli. But, on the other hand, I have to deal with the owner's brat!

So what are you going to do, Dan? Are you going to censored books and non-censored books? Are you going to have censored books with "adult" books? Or are you just going to permanently exclude them?

First thing I do is try to find it on youtube. To listen to it.

If that doesn't work I search the lyrics on lyric sites and you have to check more than one because some of them edit the words. SOME LYRIC SITES EDIT THE WORDS

Wonder why???

I check F Bombs and other objectionable words. I deleted COWBOY because of the west coast p.....line.

Songs like RIOT. I have one Sublime song. No M&M.

Most Nelly Songs are out. If it's trash, it's trashed. All screaming it's out.

Edit like your 6 year old daughter is on one side of you and your mother/grandmother is sitting on the other.

Every singer that requests those songs is going to emphasize the swear words.

These songs hi-jack your show and turn it into a free-for-all. You then loose control and turn your show over to someone that could care less if you have a job next week. They won't pay your bills and they hurt your reputation. So why would you do it? To cater to a mindless immature jerk?

I have one book version.

The people that don't come back to my show don't matter.

They are not the crowd I want to CATER to. EVER...

These are the people that attend my competition's shows.

Another secret of my success, most of my competition is stupid.

They fail to understand the concept of a hi-jacked show. Or they think it's cool that everyone is swearing and having "FUN."

The songs are not even on my hard drive. So if someone asks and they happen to be looking over my shoulder, they won't see it come up. Less explaining to do...
