MP3+G to Karaoke CDG Disc
MP3+G

karaoke files are a
cdg and
mp3 file pair for each song. These two files must be encoded together into a single BIN file before they can be written to a CD-R. Not long ago this was a difficult task that required several programs and special burner to accomplish.
Fortunately, modern karaoke software like
Microstudio and
Power CD+G Burner make this a simple process. Both of these programs work with most modern CD/DVD burners.
The basic procedure is to select the MP3+G

files or zipped MP3+G

files, place them in the order you like, click a button, and a CDG disc will be created. The MP3+G

files are encoded "on the fly".
While virtually any CD-R media can be used (never CD-RW) the best results will be achieved with premium discs. I highly recommend the
MTU CD Recordable Media as it is engineered for CDG karaoke.

Microstudio you can:
