Play Karaoke CD+G Discs On Your ComputerI can't count how many times I've been asked about this. It appears that this information is not as easy to find as you might imagine. Anyway, playing a karaoke CD+G disc on your computer is not that difficult. You simply need the right CD-ROM drive and the right software player. To display the graphics (images and lyrics) on your monitor your CD-ROM drive must be able to read the "subchannel data" from a CD+G disc. All Plextor, most Sony, and some other drives have this capability. There are several software CD+G players available. Power CD+G Player Pro and WinCDG Pro are two of the more popular applications. That's all there is to it. Get the right drive and the right software and start playing karaoke CD+G discs on your computer. |
