Change MP3 Frequency with Audacity

Now browse to where your mp3 file is and double click on it to load it into audacity. You will notice at the bottom left of the program there's a dropdown box labeled Project Rate (Hz). It will contain a number like 22050. Click on the dropdown arrow and select 44100. ![]() Step Two Now click on File and then on Export Audio. ![]() Step Three If you are not looking at the folder with the original file you will need to navigate to that folder. In the Quality dropdown select 56 kbps (raising the bit rate now will not improve the sound quality). Under Channel Mode select Stereo. Now when you click the Save button it should prompt a popup that says the file already exists and asks if you want to replace it. Select Yes. Now just click on OK in the next popup. It will take just a couple of seconds for the file to be converted. ![]() The song is now ready to be added to the Power CD+G Burner burn list. Now click on File and then on Close. When it asks if you want to save the project click on No. You are now ready to go back to step one and process the next mp3. |
