the examples on the CSP Audio site go far beyond what Vogone can do Naturally CSP would post their most successful examples and, of course, a sound studio would be able to produce better results than commercial PC software. The fact remains that vocal reduction does not provide high quality results...

What is a good vocal reducing software that will take out the lead vocals in a regular CD and do these products really work well? Vocal reducing software, and hardware for that matter, very rarely perform satisfactorily. Be assured that the music quality will always be degraded. I have tried many o...

I am trying to find the particulars on any laptops that will display the video on both the laptop screen and multiple TV'S. Your laptop must have a "dual display" graphics card. ATI makes one that is included in some karaoke ready laptops. Here's a link: http://www.ati.com/products/mobili...

VanBasco is probably the best karaoke player for the computer i have found.
Good player for midi karaoke files, but midi karaoke is obsolete. The present and future of computer karaoke is in the MP3+G and a few other formats.

To start with, the Viper is a self contained CDG system and VocoPro does not make a digital system. Don't be in a hurry to send back the hardware you have ordered. The only difference between a CDG and a digital system is the player. If you can possibly go with a digital system then you definitely s...

HAVE MANY IMPERFECTIONS IN THE CONVERTED MP3G LYRICS
The usual cause of distorted graphics is the ripping of the tracks at too high of speed.

Avoiding duplicate songs is the hardest part of buying karaoke discs. It is impossible to completely eliminate duplicates but you can keep them to a minimum by doing your homework and a little savvy shopping. Though most professional KJ's would agree that Sound Choice discs are probably the best aro...

I was under the impression wireless mics work poorly in an environment with a lot of neon - What is your experience? Neon lights have very little, if any, affect on wireless mic performance. They can occasionally receive interference in areas of high radio transmission activity like that from polic...

What do you think about DK? i heard they were really great, but no longer available? My first CDG's were the original DK 1 - 99 series. They have seen more use than any other discs I have. Some people (very few) don't like the "guide notes" that the DK discs employ. Personally, I think th...

Few KJ's would disagree that the quality of SoundChoice is unsurpassed although they are priced much higher than comparable brands. Others, like StarDisc, Sunfly, and Top Hits Monthly are very good quality discs at affordable prices.

I've owned and operated a karaoke company for over 15 years and have put together quite a few systems. From my experience these are my suggestions. The Pioneer PD-V10G Dual Tray is the most dependable CDG player on the market. Has all the needed features and loads discs very fast. The Mackie 406M Po...
