I've had people at my shows that pay attention to the length of EVERYBODIES songs. They also want to get THEIR singing time by picking long songs. Another long one is The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald by Gordon Lightfoot. I think it IS pretty petty when people have nothing better to do (when they g...

Make up a list (that only you know), such as sing ANY Beatles song, or sing a gender bender, or ANY halloween song, etc. You can be as creative as you want. Make a list of 20 different topics, number them 1-20. Have the singer go to a dart board, throw a dart, and whatever number they hit, check the...

Unless you have more CUSTOM discs than regular (off the shelf) discs, you DEFINATELY have more duplicates than 3000 out of 70,000. I also use a songbook creator, (not sure if I can mention the brand on this forum), but it is a Major brand songbook creator. It will automatically take out duplicates, ...

I think the only way this type of karaoke could work, is that the place is FULL of tourists. Different crowd every night, that way if someone gets offended by the totally unfair rotation works, they can leave and be replaced by another tourist waiting to chomp at the bit. No way would you keep a REG...

Actually, this happens more than you would think, but that's the way it is. The new manager is probably REALLY into sports, has some buddies that will come in, drink some beer, scream at the tv sets, and stay until ALL of the games are over. If you can compete with that, good luck! That's why karaok...

In answer to Bigdog's question, If Frank wants to sing with Susie, it'll have to be in the NEXT rotation. I'd probably tell him to hurry and get a slip in with Susie for the NEXT rotation, because she seems to be pretty popular tonight. In this manner, it doesn't become the SUSIE show, or anyone els...

Bigdog, this is probably one of the reasons why I will stick to using CORDED mics. You are right there to insure who gets, and keeps, the mic. Alot of people come to WATCH karaoke being sung, not some IDIOT rolling on the floor with a 500.00 mic. Hope I didn't take it too far off topic. Rosa...

Very easy, Susie can sing a duet with the next person in the NEXT rotation. As I said, one by herself, one as a duet. Although I don't like the idea of someone singing 2 songs EVERY rotation, I will allow it, because I have set the rules, and I have to stick to them ALSO. Rosario Serenity Now ...
