AutoKDJ does search as you type. And everything else that the paid programs do. One difference - AutoKDJ does it better.

In a similar fashion, AutoKDJ, one of the best karaoke hosting programs out there IMHO, has a network-able kiosk solution that adds singers directly into the queue of the host machine. So it works in the same way as the remote tool coupled with just karaoke but the interface is much nicer with AutoK...

First off, I am NOT affiliated with any software vendor. Just a KJ that has tried all of them, with Compuhost being the only exception). The sleeper KJ software would have to be AutoKDJ. Program runs inside Winamp as a series of plugins, and is entirely FREE. But don't confuse free for poor quality....
