Re: Karaoke Hardware and Software Wanted
Wiseguy, I have no idea why that data rate was selected years ago. In any case, those CD tracks sounded fine on various KJ's equipment for many years, and the ripped tracks on my computer still sound good played on KaraFun and Power CD+G Player Pro. I'll be ripping files from my remaining working CD...

Wiseguy, there is still no Attachments tab. I logged off and on, but there was no change.

Re: Karaoke Hardware and Software Wanted
Wiseguy, Re: "Have you tried to play the KaraFun created files with Power CD+G Player Pro? If they won't play with that program then they are not true MP3+G files. What did you mean by nnnnn.cdg files? Could you send me a song file pair created with KaraFun as attachments to your next message?&...

Re: Karaoke Hardware and Software Wanted
OK, Wiseguy, regarding "If you can play the MP3+G file pairs with Power CD+G Player Pro you can burn a CD+G disc from them with Power CD+G Burner 2." My Power CD+G Player Pro will play the MP3+G file pairs (with the circle K in front of each file) properly. Perhaps the problem is I'm still...

Re: "DanG2006 wrote: ↑ Sun Jul 30, 2017 1:29 pm The program can convert the two files into a .bin file which was the format that Goldenhawk use to rip to. Once converted you should be able to burn the files. " I converted two .cdg files into .bin files but didn't burn them. However, I play...

RE: "The .cdg and its matching .mp3 will be encoded together "on the fly" during the burn process. I even posted a link to a step by step Create a CD+G Disc from MP3+G Files tutorial. Did you bother to read it?" Yes, I read the step-by-step instructions. However, selecting the .c...

Re: "Karaoke songs that consist of two files each, one .cdg and one.mp3, are known as MP3+G files. This is the industry standard computer karaoke file format. They are the compressed version of karaoke CD+G disc song tracks similar to how MP3 files are compressed versions of standard CD song tr...

Re: Karaoke Hardware and Software Wanted
OK, Wiseguy! I downloaded and installed the trial copy of Power CD+G Burner and started fumbling. I first tried to read a couple CDs that I've been unable to read on my computer using my Samsung drive, which is a SATA I confirmed this morning. No surprise, I guess, those CDs still couldn't be read. ...

Re: Karaoke Hardware and Software Wanted
Wow! Awesome!! I'm very fortunate to have encountered you. Thank you very much for the information. I have a Samsung CD/DVD drive, which I've rarely used. I'll need to determine exactly what Samsung drive I have, but I believe it's a SATA drive. In any case, I now know how to go about getting the ka...

Karaoke Hardware and Software Wanted
I have a desktop computer running Window 10 Pro. Except for monitor, speakers, keyboard, and mouse, the electronics, drives, and power supply are housed in a standard tower case. This case has bays for several 5.25-inch drives and two 3.5-inch drives. I want to install a Plextor drive (perhaps PLEXT...
