Don't limit yourself as what you want to do now may not be what you might want to do later. I wouldn't go any smaler than 12" for any system personally, although I started out witha pair of 10" Radio Shack Speakers. They lasted a long time but in the end I needed more wattage as I had star...

I got no problem if the singer wants to improvise a few lyrics, but the lyrics on screen shouold be accurate to the version they are rying to do. Did you ever get confused when the old laser version of "You've got a friend" came on and you were expecting the James Taylor version and it's t...

On Star Disc, I have to disagree on. I'd rather sing a sunfly version of boulevard of broken dreams. Star Disc looks like they were produced by using MTU's version 3.100 of their Karaoke Home Producer karaoke making software, where they forgot to make them look professional and you can't tell who i...

What would be your top ten CDG Disc Company?. is Sweet Georgia Brown and good? In general, Sweet Georgia Brown sucks in my opinion. Pop Hits Monthly and Top Hits Monthly are virtually identical in quality (which is pretty good quality). Few will disagree that Sound Choice produces top quality CDG's...

You will find Sweet Georgia Brown only has a few good tracks such as war Pigs/paranoid. Best quality out ther is: Sound Choice for general songs, Chartbusters for country (out of Nashville so go figure), Pop Hits Monthly for top hits from the last month or so. etc. Zoom is great for UK hits and hard...

you might wan't to check out roxbox at www.kjamp.com as it contains everything needed to prepare your songs for play, your songlist, and player and rotation management. RoxBox is simple to use. Not like Hoster. Hoster is a pain in importing MP3+G songs into the database. Roxbox is very forgiving. W...

You can get an RF MOdualator that has an S-video input built in. The put put is like you were working with cable to tv. Tthe guy from toshiba knows nothing as I own a little piece that converts S-video to RCa and works perfectly. Had bought it as I had a s-video out of an IBM laptop and it did not c...

You definitely need a dual display graphics card to display your work area on one monitor and the singer's screen on another. I don't know if Winamp supports dual display like most of the karaoke "hoster" applications do. The plugin that handles the lyric screen has a box in it's configur...

Also, I was on Ebay the other day and a person was selling a hard drive full of karaoke music. 30,000 songs to be exact for $350.00. Can 30,000 songs fit on a 160gb hard drive? Yes, you can easily fit 30,000 karaoke tracks on an 160GB hard drive. The problem with these "package deals" is ...

About the dual card.. How do you know if it fits a laptop computer? it seems that each card is for a PC. Am I missing something? The only way you can be sure to obtain the correct card for your specific laptop is to furnish the retailer with the make and model of your machine. Let them provide you ...

You know I hate people who have nothing better to do than to post lies they can't back up on forums. Just did a search on SC's forum for the posts that the guy on the forum posted that it was said. Think it was on Jolt. Result NADA.
